Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the AAP Overseas Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this portal. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

To be eligible for membership, you must:

• Be an Indian citizen or Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
• Be currently residing outside India
• Support the values and mission of the Aam Aadmi Party
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Submit valid identification documents for verification
• Not be affiliated with any organization hostile to AAP's interests

We reserve the right to reject or revoke membership at our sole discretion if eligibility criteria are not met or if false information is provided.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of your profile information
• Updating your information when changes occur
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Using your account in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.

When using our portal, you agree NOT to:

• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the portal for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the portal
• Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the portal's operation
• Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users
• Use the portal to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload fraudulent or falsified documents

You agree to provide authentic documents for identity verification, including but not limited to:

• Valid passport copies
• Address proof documents
• PAN card or Aadhaar card
• Any other documents requested by us

Providing false or fraudulent documents may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Donations made through the portal are voluntary and non-refundable, except as required by law. You acknowledge that:

• All donations are processed securely through third-party payment processors
• Donations are subject to verification and approval
• You must have verified documents to make donations
• Donations are used for AAP's activities and causes
• You will receive a receipt for tax purposes where applicable
• Refund requests must be made within 7 days with valid reasons

All content on the AAP Overseas Portal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of AAP Overseas or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Your use of the portal is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Providing false or misleading information
• Engaging in fraudulent activities
• Activities that harm AAP's reputation or interests
• Inactivity for an extended period
• Any reason we deem necessary at our sole discretion

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the portal will be revoked, though some information may be retained as required by law.

THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability of the portal
• Warranties that the portal will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding security or absence of viruses

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AAP OVERSEAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Damages arising from third-party content or actions
• Damages related to your inability to use the portal

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the portal shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
